Well, not exactly missing. More like... in transition. As in, transitioning to the west coast. Roughly one month ago, Mark and I packed up our bags and moved to Los Angeles. Our furniture (and pets) soon followed behind in a truck and my car, respectively. Fun fact: you can pay a very nice, self-described red neck gentleman to drive your meowing cats and car-loving english bulldog across the country for you. Money well spent.
We all arrived safe and sound, and the past month or so has been a whirlwind of setting up our apartment, fun times at the DMV, auditing and registering for classes, meeting some lovely LA-actors whom - up until now - I'd only known online, and eating. Lots and lots of eating. With about a billion restaurants here to try, the only reasonable course of action seems to me to try them all. ASAP. :)
Now, I'm excited to say in addition to all the fun of starting to settle into this sunny new city, I've had a few auditions, call backs, and bookings. More to come on those soon! But for now, I just want to say thanks to everyone who's welcomed me to LA with open arms. And to my friends, family, and fellow actors in NYC: I'll see you soon! While LA is my new home-base, this Jersey girl will be doing the "bi-coastal" thing.
