Better late than never, no? Last weekend was my class show for Improv 201 at UCB with Molly Llyod (and Joey Price). We had a pretty hilarious group which made the whole class and final show a ton of fun. Looking forward to taking 301 (soon, I hope!).
Welp. I just realized I'm a little overdue for some updates on what I've been up to lately.... much like I was overdue in signing up for Improv 201 at UCB. Between the classes selling out like hotcakes (apparently, hotcakes sell quickly?) and my struggle to clear a day/time 8 weeks in a row, nearly a year has passed since I took 101. My 201 class (taught by the delightful and hilarious Molly Lloyd) started three weeks ago and I'm so happy to back. We have a great crew who so far have made getting up for a 9:30 am class (and the gym before it...) worth it. Our class show will be on October 4th, 4 pm at UCBeast. So, you know, mark your schedules! :)
The last few days have been pretty darn good. I just booked parts in two NYU short films that I'm pretty excited about. Both have very promising scripts, cast and crew! First up is "Gnome Man's Land," which films today and tomorrow, followed by "Channeling Nora Ephron" which films next week. I'm looking forward to both!
I also took a great commercial intensive with Brooke and Mary (Brooke Thomas Casting and House Casting, respectively) which was super informative and fun. Looking forward to putting that class to use at future commercial auditions.
