This past weekend was busy, cold but very, very fun! Saturday was our last day of shooting for 'Dissonance' in Cornwall, New York while Sunday night we wrapped 'May Contain Spoilers' in Madison, New Jersey. Can't wait to share more photos (and the final cuts!) when they're ready!
What a weekend. This past Thursday I joined a great cast and crew to film a short called "Dissonance" at a gorgeous campground in NY state. I played Jodi, a young photographer who's struggling to make her passion her career while sorting out her relationship with Ian, her high school sweet heart and fiance. We have one more day to shoot in the next few weeks, but I'm excited to see what we already shot. Some behind-the-scenes shots are coming soon, but for now, a couple of shots of our amazing location are below.
The last few days have been pretty darn good. I just booked parts in two NYU short films that I'm pretty excited about. Both have very promising scripts, cast and crew! First up is "Gnome Man's Land," which films today and tomorrow, followed by "Channeling Nora Ephron" which films next week. I'm looking forward to both!
I also took a great commercial intensive with Brooke and Mary (Brooke Thomas Casting and House Casting, respectively) which was super informative and fun. Looking forward to putting that class to use at future commercial auditions.
Better late than never, right? Early last week I played the lead role (Narcia) in the NYU short film, 'Home,' directed by Hearin Ko. I had the chance to play a bit of a recluse. Narcia is shy and happy to hide away in her apartment whenever possible. She was in for quite a shock when a well-meaning neighbor barges in and reveals a big secret. I'm looking forward to seeing the final cut which I hope to share here, but for now here's a few pictures from set.
I'm happy to announce that I was cast as Alma Jones in a really fun short film called "May Contain Spoilers." Production won't begin until this fall, but in the meantime we got together last weekend to shoot a short teaser video. Check it out below :)
About a week and a half ago I finished shooting a great student thesis film written and directed by Shelley Yu called "Haunting River." If you couldn't guess from the picture, I was indeed the one haunting the other lead actress 'River.' We had a great cast and crew, and I can't wait to see the final edit. Video to come once it's ready! For now, I've also added a few photos taken on set here.
